Hello guys,

I've got refused last year and got the GCMS notes to see on what grounds i've been refused. Reasons are stated below

Based on the applican'ts limited employment prospects in their country of residence/citizenship, I've accorded less weight to their ties to their country of residence/citizenship

Based on the financial documents submitted, I'm not satisfied that the applicant has sufficient funds to pay for living expanses for proposed studies

weitghing the factors in this application. I am not satisfied that the applicant will adhere to the terms and conditions imposed asa temporary resident.

For the reasons above i have refused the application.

After i received the GCMS notes i've worked on my application and gathered most of the required documents and i feel that i have fixed the the second reason of refusal for (insufficient funds) and that leaves me to the first reason of refusal which is the limited employment prospects in my country (EGYPT)

My Educational background:

I've finished high school then joined college for Tourism and hospitality which was one of the finest fields in EGYPT as it's touristy country. However, in 2011 Egypt tourism has declined steadily in few years after 2011 then deteriorated due to political instability in the country. So, I've decided to switch my overall plan to study computer science which i have pretty interest in, but that seems to have confused the VO and gave me the limited employment prospects reason for refusal.

Now, i have again accepted for 2021 fall paid the first semester tuition fee and i will apply in the upcoming few days.

Any advice or a piece of information on how to fix the first reason for refusal (limited employment prospects) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you guys for taking the time to read my post :)

When did you start tourism program and when did you stop?
What have done between then and now? Employment, business, etc
Where have you been accepted for CS program? What level of study is it?

How old are you?

Tourism 2015-2019 and most of my employments we contracts between me and companies to acquire my services and I get decent pay. I’ve been accepted in college in Newfoundland for 1 year program that will prepare me for 2 years CS program. And I’m 28

What services were you offering? To be frank with you, I think you should consider doing a bachelors (maybe part-time) in CS in your home country and then pursue a masters degree in Canada. At 28 years, you are not that young anymore.

I was managing their finances online, do you think at 28 they would view my application differently? And there is no way that I would get a study permit?

So you have no IT or CS experience?
There's always a possibility of approval but your chances are not great IMO.
I have a pretty good IT experience but not in work. I mean I’ve never worked in a company as IT but I don’t think I can say that in the SOP because they need evidence.
