New PR confirmation portal

Hi Everyone,
Please clarify this. Are they sending portal confirmation email after all stages passed or after final decision ?
It's definitely only after all the stages are passed. But before they update your profile, IRCC is trying to understand if the principal applicant and dependants are in Canada and they will issue e-copr and mark your status in CIC as completed.

Hello everyone! ❤
just a quick question and any insight is greatly appreciated! We got the PR portal email, and just a little confused. When it asks to include information (name, UCI, email, original entry date, date of last time entered, location-port of entry) it says to include it for yourself and for each member of your family.
My husband is the applicant and I (the wife) am the sponsor. Do I need to include my information? A little confused because it does specifically say each family member and I know wife/spouse is considered family. However as I am the sponsor, and I am born canadian, I don’t have an original entry date… I mean I do, my birthday lol, but you know what I mean! Thanks all :)
My daughter is born here. So, I just mentioned her name and told that she is a Canadian citizen. That's it.

Thank you. So, what is the ideal timeline to receive first email from ircc after all stages passed.

Hi mapple007, I think it is very important that you have a valid status here. Personally think you should update with them because the COPR will state your passport information. All the best, amigo. :D
I will update them no matter what in that case.

I believe I'll also technically have 90 days to renew my status if it were to run out before my COPR, so I'll leave that as a last resort.

Thanks, hermano!

Do you want a realistic answer or an optimistic one?

My VO Ottawa, all my stages passed on 15 May and I got the first e-mail on 19 May; so, it was 4 days.

Realistically, it will take as much time as they need as it depends on the immigration officer in charge of your case. Set 2 months from now in your head as the time you'll receive the first e-mail, the second, and ultimately, the COPR and you will likely not be disappointed.

Very optimistically, you might receive a call from the officer on Monday to confirm you are in Canada and your COPR could be issued the same day skipping this whole landing portal altogether. Or, a little less optimistically, you receive the first e-mail sometime next week and by Friday afternoon, you have your COPR.

Where is your file being processed?

Hi mapple007, please double-check on the date, I am not sure if they have changed it to 30 days instead of 90 days. Please don't let your status expired before you get your COPR. Good luck to you.

If we ask you to submit documents for an application in progress
Because many applicants can now provide the supporting documents needed for us to process applications, we’ll no longer be automatically giving you more time to submit information.

  • We’ll contact you to request the supporting documents.
    • This will happen in the next few months.
    • You’ll have 30 days from the date we contact you to submit the information.
  • Start collecting your documents.
    • Do this before we contact you. It can take time to get certain documents.
    • Check the last email we sent you to confirm what you need to submit.
  • Don’t travel to another city or country to get the supporting documents.
  • We’ll consider extending your deadline if you have a reasonable explanation that shows you’re affected by COVID-19.
Find out what to do if you still have documents to provide for your application.

It took me one month and 5 days from all stages passed to first email. My agent raised a webform asking for status when it completed one month and in 5 days got first email. Not sure if webform helped here

@ChefNirmal I believe it's clearly mentioned we need to let the IRCC know that if any of you or dependants are not in Canda, When you replied, did you not mention that your spouse out of Canada ? As per my knowledge, they are issuing e-coprs only to the people in Canada. Let's get experts opinion. @legalfalcon Please share your thoughts.
@ChefNirmal Currently for IRCC to issue COPR, all individuals in the application have to be physically in Canada. If any one of them is not in Canada, IRCC is not issuing the COPR.
