Assume it is close because getting a TRV from Ghana can be very difficult and getting a TRV as the spouse of a PR or citizen is also very difficult although easier de to covid.

Yea! You are right. Covid made it a bit easier for immediate family members of Canadian Citizens and PR’s.

Hi,

I have applied for my moms visitor visa from India. She had a visitor visa in the past which expired due to passport expiration.

She has a valid US visa
Expired UK and Canada visa
I believe she has given biometrics as she has travelled multiple times to all these 3 countries in the last 5 years. My request to invite her is based on humanitarian grounds as all her children live abroad and her husband ( my dad) passed away weeks ago due to a prolonged illness and now she is by herself. The grieving makes it’s very difficult without family around.

I want to know if visa stamping still happens in Delhi For those who do not need biometrics

I have a quick question. I applied for my parents visitor visa last year June. Due to Covid and VFS- India being closed, they couldn't give biometrics. Now i got my PR. Will the existing application needs to be updated or changed?? Will being PR helps in getting biometric appointments to parents??

Applied for my mom's visitor visa on June 7th.
Biometrics request on June 8th.
Biometrics will be done on June 17th.

Let's hope things will pick up now that there's more talk about easing the restrictions

The reason is because I’m an immediate family member of a Canadian Citizen. And we also have a Family Sponsorship Application is process.

So that’s why it was expedited.
