Hi, I want to move to Canada as a Secondary School Teacher. I've got a few questions. I'd be glad if you could help.

1) Is it accepted if I complete a one year B.Ed course from a government teachers' training college at my home country (After completing a 4 years Honors Course)?
2) I'm planning to join a School in a Rural area of my country, after graduation. Do I need to work at a well known School from City to get accepted? Or should I stick to my plan?
3) Do I need to take both General And Academic IELTS (Considering my NOC)?
4) Is there a possibility that this job won't be in demand in Canada within a year or two?

Move in the sense how?
Your query must be specific
  1. Accepted by whom? get accepted where and by whom? what's your plan?
  2. So what are your educational qualifications that you currently holding? only completed and graduated degrees count
  3. depends on your mode of moving to Canada
  4. No idea about it's demand, but I guess it's a regulated job so anyone who wants to be a teacher will require a license to practice from the relevant regulatory authority in Canada in order to work. But to move you don't require a license.
The regulatory authority sets the requirements for certification, licensing, or registration to work in regulated occupations. It is responsible for defining the assessment process described above and for the ultimate recognition of your professional qualifications.
In addition to an assessment of your academic and professional qualifications, you may also have to complete other requirements to obtain a licence to practise or certificate of qualification. These could include:
  • examinations to test your knowledge and competencies;
  • proof of language proficiency;
  • criminal record check;
  • Canadian work placement or practicum;
  • reference check or proof of professional standing;
  • orientation course or bridging program; and/or
  • additional academic or professional requirements.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
1)I meant being accepted by Canadian Government through the Express Entry or PNP program.
2) I am pursuing my bachelor's degree and I am well aware that I can't apply for the Immigration program until I get my degree. I'm asking for advice so I can plan ahead.
3) I meant leave my home country for Canada and live there, hopefully as a Permanent Resident.

Planning ahead is meaningless since pandemic hit and there will be reforms/changes happening to Immigration as stated in the previous budget. Probably Immigration will be based on Profession / NOC's which the country requires, Since they aren't focused on taking in a crowd of people. So planning as the reforms happen is a better way.
