For citizenship you have to fille atleast 3 years tax returns in prevoius 5 years, there is no exception here. So you have to wait until u file 3 tax returns.
If u send a application with a 2 years tax returns your application will considered incomplete and returned to you.
This is a WRONG information. If a person lived less than 180 days in a given year, he/she is not liable to pay taxes (if of course no income).

Thos is incorrect. You can live in Canada for less than 180 days and still be required to pay taxes om your international income. Time spent in Canada is only one component when determining whether you are a resident for tax purposes. Only CRA will be able to determine whether you are a resident for tax purposes and there Is a form to fill out to help CRA determine whether you are a tax resident.

The reason I am saying so I had done that with my PR card renewal for 2 people at separate times 1 last year and 1 early this year. So, this is coming from experience.

You are correct, only if Canada has some tax treaty with the country.

No, that won't affect your citizenship application. As long as you have filed taxes as necessary, you should be good.
