Hi guys.
Québec recently put up an announcement, for recruiting foreign teachers from 11 countries.
I'm from Yaoundé, Cameroon, and I was selected.
1. What Visa will I apply for? (Was thinking, Work Visa)
2. How long will the Visa application take?
3. What if I get less than 70% in the EETC exam?
Thanks very much; thought as much. The answer will be VISITOR'S VISA (TRV); since you'll be going just to write the EETC Exam. The rest will follow from there.
Thanks very much; this is most helpful.2. The duration will be the normal TRV application time, for Cameroon. You make write IRCC and tell them it's essential, to reduce the duration.
3. If you "fail" the EETC Exam, you'll retake it again.
Yeah, you're welcome. Thanks very much; this is most helpful.
It's now I'm realising my acceptance document has 2 years validity, within to take EETC exam. Thanks.

You will need to make sure you have the funds to support yourself while in Canada. That is one thing that will be examined at the POE.
Yeah, of course. Thanks.
I was asking for the type of visa.
TRV to take the test. If you already a teacher? You would need a job offer to apply for a WP. Realistically you will likely have to come take the test and then return if/when you get a WP because it could take many months to get a WP unless you have the funds to remain as a visitor in Canada for many months. Would suggest
Looking at the program it seems to assume that you will find a way to immigrate and the program doesn’t guarantee immigration.

Yeah, it's TRV for the test.
For the entire program, it's a special pathway (for already selected licensed teachers, from 11 countries): after passing the test, the ministry of education and higher education of Quebec shall process Teacher Permit (for about 2 months) and you'll teach on probation for 1 year; after passing the 2 evaluations, you'll receive attestation, which can be used to apply for PR and Teaching Diploma.

I read the website and saw no details about the special permit.
