A new express entry profile while Spouse's application is in processing stage

1) Is it okay to create an express entry profile and submit it to get an ITA while there is another application already in progress with my spouse as the primary applicant and I’m the dependent? I understand that if I get the ITA, I get 60 days to accept / reject and if the other application doesn’t get through, I can go ahead and submit mine, but this time with me as the primary applicant and spouse as dependent.
2) Anyone knows if this new profile going into the pool affect the application that is already in process?
3) Also, should I say in my profile that I already applied for express entry and provide the application number from my spouse’s application? Appreciate your reply.

1. Yes. However, once you submit your application, make sure you delete the other profile.

2. No, it will have no impact as your have different individuals as PA. Even if you have the same person as PA, it won't have any impact.

3. You only apply after your have received an ITA and submitted your application with a fee. Creating an express entry profile does not constitute applying to IRCC.
