yes my partner has similar timeline. Got AOR in 3 weeks and went in process immediately. Every year IRCC makes processing improvements and it becomes more efficient. Manual processes are automated etc. When I applied for citizenship in 2017, it was the same - I got it in 6 months and people who applied 2-3 years before me were still waiting. This is why quite often it is just faster to start an application from scratch than try to rescue an old application from the backlog. If we followed our lawyer's recommencation and filed a judicial review for his refused HC back in March 2021, we would have to wait until March 2022 (at least) for the judge to decide whether it deserves reconsideration and reassigning to a different officer (and pay 15,000$).
