CRA showing Overdue Payments (due to a clerical error on their side), would it impact our citizenship application?

We have an ongoing issue with Canada Revenue Agency, they issued us a notice to pay them back some CCB payments that they made erroneously.
Even though we sent them the payment (using our TD bank, bill pay feature), on CRA website it is still showing Overdue Payments (due to a clerical error on their side), would it impact our citizenship application? We have taken so many follow-ups with CRA and much like most other Federal departments, they have cookie-cutter responses "Our team is looking into it, please wait and we will update you within 2 days to 4 weeks"

We wrote our Citizenship test on April 05. It was marked as "Completed" on new tracker on April 06.
And now there has been complete silence since.

Except background check and citizenship test, all other sub steps are showing in-progress.
Not sure if its general IRCC delays or Mississauga Office hibernation or this issue with CRA, thats causing this delay in completion of other checks and eventually Oath invite.

Any thoughts, anyone?

No.
citizenship application requires if you have filed the tax returns, not about the dues(even if there is any).

Such a relief, I have been filing income tax returns every year without fail. And in this case also, there isn’t any actual due even.

But inordinate delays at IRCC end lead us to think in all directions :)

My 2018 audit issues and documents submission and clearing took 3 years and got cleared just this Feb2021. So cra takes its own time hence cic cant wait and not linked on the dues/issues.

My colleague for sure has one of the audits pending on tax issues on dues. It was the same when he applied for citizenship and it was the case even after the oath. So both department issues are separate unless it becomes a criminal record.

So for most of us its not a problem on dues/pending clearance from cra.
