In the regular student visa when do we need to submit the medical and where? Or will the IRCC ask for it later? the online portal didn’t have any option to submit the medical

Did you answer Yes to the question that asks something like whether you have done a medical in the last 12 months ? It should then create a section to upload proof of upfront medical exam.
If you didn't do upfront medical then you have a choice of waiting for the medical request.

I didn’t select upfront medical. So should I wait for them to ask me for the medical? Also should I get my medical done before they ask for it?
It's your call. You can either wait for the medical request or go for upfront medical and then upload the results through webform.
Have you submitted the application ? Webform should be done if you have already submitted it.
the hospital told me that they need IME number to do the medical, which will be provided by the embassy. So I need to wait for them to provide me the number?
Tell them you don't have an IME number because you're going for upfront medicals. You can give them your UCI number instead which can be found in the letters IRCC sent like BIL.
Ah is it? I am not sure, I might miss news updates. Anyhow if you have some progress on getting a medical appointment without the IRCC request kindly update. It would help us as well.
I called a few hospitals yesterday but they said they haven’t resumed the medical yet. I’ll let you know as soon as I get it.
