Hi everyone! According to IRCC my file is actually in Haiti. We got sponsor approval since 2019. Do you guys think it is a good idea to contact Mexico VO just to verify that if they have gotten file? @Yessica333

No need to contact them if you called IRCC and they confirmed that your application is in Haiti. Do you know what the hold-up is if you don't mind me asking?

I have no idea. Last time, I was told everything is in order and it is in queue for review. Been in process since December 2019

Mates, I have a question.

I heard that everything is processed by Mexico, even the visa stamp. Is there someone on this thread whose file is processed by P-A-P? If so
, what is the role of P-A-P embassy?

As you can see on here, my file has been sitting there since Dec 2019. They didn’t transfer it to Mexico, so I’m confused as hell.

If they are closed, they should transfer your file to another VO like they do for other applicants since the pandemic started. P-A-P is the slowest VO i've never heard about. Even Dakar is faster than P-A-P.

I don’t know what to expect from them. This morning they tweeted out the same old c**p since the beginning of the pandemic which is they can’t normally process files…

2019 applications stuck there without any communications.
i don’t think it’s Canada because once it’s in Haiti it’s their responsibility. For that reason ( long wait time) I think there not sending more applications there. It’s going to slow and people in Canada in this process are complaining and protesting.

How is everyone doing especially with the situation the country is in. Is anyone nervous, worried, and scared a little more than usual having Spouse over there because I know I am.

The situation the country is in having no government running the country, should be a good reason to speed up the processes there. What do yall think?

It's exactly what they would say if they were in your shoes; unfortunately it is what it is. Canada claims to be a friend of Haiti, realistically it's not but Hong Kong is. Just for Chinese bill which restrained the HK people freedom, they make a special program for them to immigrate in Canada. Look at Haiti at this time, not even a fast track program for those who stuck in the process for years.
