Hi, I am in Pakistan I have previously completed my bachelors in commerce. I was wanting to visit Canada as my sister lives there but do a short term course in tourism as Pakistan is doing well in tourism business.
The course is 4 months at a designated college in vancouver, I have paid my fees, i do work in pakistan and have property under my name do you think this would be enough to come to canada? what else can i add ? or what other options do i have to visit for short term?

If you are doing a course, you need a study permit not a visitor visa. So apply for a study permit, you have paid fees so show $10k minimum for living expenses.

I was told that I would still need visa along with study permit cause I cant come to Canada with just a study permit?

When you apply for a study permit, the visitor visa comes with it. When is the course? Your school must be on the DLI Covid Readiness plan to enter.

The course isn't up to 6 months, so you need only TRV Application. Study Permit is for courses 6 months and longer.

Unless you want to work on campus, that's when you'll need a study permit for short courses.
