Spousal Open Work Permit-COVID processing time

Hello everyone. I am getting married in a month's time and I am currently on a PGWP visa and have just submitted CEC application. I plan on applying for my wife's spousal open work permit and then adding her on as a dependent in my PR application.
Has anyone applied for a spousal work permit while they were on PGWP during these covid times and have been successful? If so how long did it take you? I am from Pakistan so maybe someone from Pakistan/India/Bangladesh etc could shed some light on this, I'd be reallly grateful.

It will be many months and it is not guaranteed. If this is an arranged marriage and there is very little relationship history you could be refused on your first attempt at getting an SOWP.
