Hello all,
Just a simple question. I have applied for Global Business Management and am in the process of applying for student visa.
I worked for 5 years with a company and have all the necessary documents. After I quit my first job, I joined a startup where my salary structure was not stable (it was mostly unpaid) and I do not have my salary slips. However I do have my experience letter. How do I justify this in my student visa application. Any response would be appreciated. Thank you.

Some of the common reasons for refusal is " current employment status", I don't know how you overcome that as experience letters alone can not be enough, and Global Business Management sounds to me a very general program and can be done elsewhere, though I'm not saying people don't get refused with that but they need to have good profile...

I didn't submit any payslip for my application, only employment letter. I don't think you'll be refused for not submitting payslips. GBM is a tricky program to convince VO about just like @simba said. Good luck!

I worked in a startup for 3 years before I applied for masters. I did not get paid for a few months too. I attached salary slips for 3 consecutive months (latest) and a relieving letter /letter of experience from the company that detailed my position, how long I worked, what I worked on. It was on the company letterhead, had the company stamp on it and a signature from a senior-level person (In my case, the director). That was sufficient. I suggest you get a letter of that sort if you cannot attach salary slips.

Hey,
I only attached experience letter from all my 16 years of work experience. I didn't mention anything about salary.

Plus I am freelancing since 2019.

Make your SOPs really strong and personlized.

Cheers

Thank you for your response. My employer has paid me in 3 installments for a period of 9 months(one of them is through cash). Due to the pandemic and the fact that the company is in its infancy, I understand that they could not pay me on time. Is there any way I can prove these 3 payments as I do not have salary slips. Is there a specific format for this that I can get from my employer? Your response would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. Yes my offer letter does have information about my salary but due to the pandemic and the fact that the company is it's initial stages, my employer has paid me in 3 installments for 9 months (one of them is through cash). Can you please shed any more light on how I can use this as proof?
