Hello folks,
I have confusion about year 2020 notice of assessment. I have given consent YES on questions no. 8 and 16 which were allowed to get my tax information from CRA in Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship (IMM 5768) form. Do I have to fill up any form to prove my income of year 2020?

Hi; would you please tell us what have you applied for and when? This thread is for parents and grandparents 2020 I mean who have sent their application in 2021.

Yes so my application is for same and I sent my application set sometime around first week of march as we had 14 Mar 2021 as last date to receive application.

One thing which is funny is the form on which they are saying they need hand written signatures, the form actually has a statement "by typing my name here it will be considered as electronic signatures" . That was the reason we didnt inserted scanned signatures.

Hi, I'm not sure where I can find UCI #. We are Canadian Citizen I tried with COPR confirmation # & UCI in the COPR form both didn't work

Ok people, you need to stress less, this is a long process.

Your application was received at the end of February, only a few people from early/mid January have received anything. Give it time, and read the previous pages, you will see that it is not yet ready to be linked, the safest and easiest is just to wait for the AOR.

Spending time everyday to try to link an application will not get it processed any faster.

Checked Ecas just now with sponser information and applicant information. It went through, it say application received January 26. Anyone got AOR Yet???

try calling the IRCC. try to get the temporary file number that starts with XF. remove the X and that will be your file number

Or you could just wait until you get AOR. There is no need to get a temporary file number.

This is not the advice I would recommend, those kind of requests are why it is hard to reach anybody at IRCC. Having the temporary file number will do absolutely nothing to speed up the process, will not change when you will get AOR or when your parents will be able to land. All it does is clog the system with fairly useless requests.

Wait for AOR or try to find on Ecas using other ID as it only takes your time, do not call for a temporary file number unless you need to send additional documents and don't feel you can wait for AOR for that. If it is just to see your file so that you feel better, you are wasting everyone's time.
