Answer was as accurate as your question I don't know if there was any result and I don't think you ever get results on the day of the protest. I don't think it was much covered by the news. I guess you can follow the facebook group if you want updates.

That make sense. If they could process newly 90000 why not 50000. So it’s the Quebec side chocking the process and the inventory is piling up. A simple math would forecast at least 2 more years to clear up the backlog and folks from 2020 can expect their PR sometime during 2023. disappointed!

Yes, Quebecs role is certainly shady. They (current government) don't walk the talk and seem to be deriving sadistic pleasure out of misery of thousands of migrants stuck in the process. Shameless to the core.

Also, i think the processing has slowed down as the new week has already started but no news at all. No COPRs no AORs or MR, i am not sure if the new pilot program is the reason for slow processing but its really pushing us back

Guess Pilot maybe the reason. Quebec wants to create a complete mess of already tattered QSWP system. They have absolutely no clue of what they are doing. With the new transitional open work permit also I assume it may take months at Quebec end before sending a final proposal to federal. Suffering is all of those who chose this province and are stuck now.

I don't think so. It's only for fresh applicants. You have to endure the grind unfortunately.

We are in 2021, hello....
I am a developer, but I am under NOC 2175 which allows me use my higher education another than IT.

However, I'm IT specialist who can't participate in pilot because of that.

Why they couldn't apply Pilot according to NOC, I don't understand.

I just passed my medicals and linked my application. I am exempt from interview, already did biometrics, but the estimated waiting time is... ELEVEN MONTHS?? is this possible? (they have to do background checks).

also: my spouse did not include x-rays in her medicals (due to pregnancy). will that slow down my application? thanks!

I saw that some ppl get their CoPR faster than "estimated waiting time", for example (see comment section).
