Hi! I'm applying through the essential worker stream and I asked my supervisor to write me a letter following the IRCC guidelines, this is what she sent:

this is a letter of employment (name). (name) is a light-duty cleaner with (company's name) and he has been working for the company since Dec 30, 2018. He is a valued employee who works 20 hrs/week and his pay rate 13.00/hr.
(name) has been working at one of our large grocery store sites in (city). His duties include cleaning washrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, using floor machines to burnish, emptying garbages, and ordering cleaning supplies.
In our opinion, he has more than proven his loyalty to (company name) and we would be happy to see him receive his permanent residency

Do you think this is enough to prove that my job is inside one of the essential NOC occupations (673 - Cleaners)?

Thanks

The letter is good enough. However, you should prepare more proofs (just in case): paystubs, T4. If you upload already, then just wait for AOR on the same boat here ;)

Who's to say rly, many people got away with working 23-25 hrs per week.... Anyways, it's not allowed and could damage your application permanently.

I really don't know how they do this? Won't IRCC be able to check Records of Employment or T4s with higher than usual incomes? This system seems totally honour based where people are usually reported or caught when they are randomly checked like that truck driver a few years ago.

One thing is to work more than 20 hours and not report and come clean, the other is to be truthful.
Go look in the PGWP forum, many who claim to have worked unauthorized had their files transferred to local office, but in the end all get approved.

Be truthful with IRCC, and they will not be harsh, other way around, expect some hard consequences.

Most of the hours I have worked are in Official breaks or when IRCC removed the 20 HR restriction for essential workers. At times, I went over by 4 hours on 20hr/week limit while being enrolled in regular classes on my study permit. So, I'm a bit confused.
It's upto you to declare or not. IRCC likes people who come forward, and they've always been kind.
Now if you don't and they find out, that can be bad.

Hi,
I applied for PR for the international graduate's stream, actually, I am doing BPO in a company but while applying for PR I am on leave for 2 weeks.
My question is that this will affect my PR?
And what if I stop working there.

Thank you in advance!

I think I’d rather stay away or wait for something else. Sometimes I think why did I even work more than 20/hr.

Any AOR until now ? I think IRCC is not going to touch the files until November. because they already have huge backlog in almost every stream especially in SOWP, CEC applications from march 2020 and citizenship applications.

Nope, there are new officers for this stream, pulled from visitor visas etc.
They might've already started working on the files.
