March 2021 - Citizenship applications

Hey everyone,

I just saw I had to create an IRCC account to check my application status. I'm guessing there's a few changes.

My application now says

Updated May 4, 2021
Status: In progress
Language Skills: In progress
Physical presence: In progress
Background verification: In progress
Prohibitions: In progress
Citizenship test: Not started
Citizenship ceremony: Not started

Application history:
May 3: Application filed.


Not sure if this requires an update on our tracker meaning it's "In Process ecas"

Or im just getting ahead of myself.

We all have the same information in the new tracker, which we assume it is not the same In Progress as in eCAS, in most cases the files were updated on April 23, 2021, but it appears they are sending invitations now and the updated file date has changed to May.

CiC received my citizenship application on 23rd March 2021 but I have not yet received AOR yet .
What should I do .

They are still sending AORs to applications received on the week of March 10. It's still a week or more for your AOR:

Right now they are sending AORs for applications received the week of March 10th.

I have sent my application on Feb 22nd and they received it on March 1st. However I have not received an AOR or a returned mail until now. But the website is stating they are sending AORs for the week of March 15th now. which is 2 weeks past my application receipt. Anyone has the same problem?

I applied 2 times in 2020 and my application was returned back for missing payment or wrong photo , it will take time until they reply to you

Thank you very much. I haven`t thought of that. Now I checked and it says they received it and send me correspondence along with citizenship study book on Apr 24th. however I didn`t receive anything. I`ll try to contact them.
