We sent it via mail. In the email they provide a list of places to send your passport depending on where you are. Since we're currently in Italy, we sent it to the Canadian embassy in Rome.

I see armoured already answered this! But yes, we sent a photocopy of our passport, 2x passport sized photos according to IRCC specs, and the first page of the PPR letter / email which they ask for.

If you have accompanying family then you also have to include a letter stating the height and eye colour for each member (we didn't have to do this). They also provide a third- party release form to fill out if you need someone else to pick up your CoPR (we didn't need to do this either) .

We just got an email saying our CoPR is ready for pickup today!!!

Due to Covid - 19, Indian embassy is closed, I think will have to wait for them to open. It's almost 2 months now.

I heard someone was saying on a group that an agent from VFS has confirmed that they'll open on 25th May (not sure about the authenticity of this news), I hope embassy will follow.
