Why SA without AIP while agent said AP eligibility passed

Hey guys!

I am extremely confused at this moment.

Strange thing 1
Other people’s AIP and SA are both sent at the same time while I only have SA.
Stange thing 2
Why did I call IRCC and the agent said that the eligibility of PA(principal applicant ) and medical examination has already passed, but it had to wait for the background check and criminal investigation before issuing the AIP?

This is not true because in general, many people get their sa and aip before background and security check. And other people told me my eligibility pas is equivalent to an AIP.

Hope you guys can help me clarify these puzzles. I am so stressed out.

Any response will be highly appreciated!

AIP comes at the very end of the process right before DM. The agent is right.

Thank you so much for your response!

So what does this Principle Applicant eligibility passed actually mean? Does that indicate no need for additional documents to prove the authenticity of the relationship? Or the genuine relationship of the sponsored and sponsor are in good faith so there is no need to conduct an interview. The only thing left is a Criminal and background/security check?

Sorry if I ask too much, but I am desperate to know!

Some time IRCC call agents provide information just to get rid of you soon. Try calling different time and see what they say ask them about eligibility status specifically. Hope this help.

My question is why these cases are not randomly allocated to different VO but the same one in Mississauga. And around 10+ applicants from Asian counties happen to be under this Officer. We are so stressed we do know why this officer is doing this to us. We even don't know if this officer is holding our case or transfer our case to local offices in our country of origin for a background check, which might take one more year!

This pattern is so obvious that we cannot help freaking out.

Could you share some light on it?

Much appreciated!

If you share your full timeline, PA's nationality, inland or outland then only I can comment on this.

I can see now why you are angry. No body has control over selecting VO. I think they already have selected specific VO for specific country. We all know Mississauga is already slow and they have backlogs plus this lockdowns in Ontario. So you are not alone.

Your application is already moving forward so have a faith and wait for your turn. this is all I can say. And if you want cross check IRCC agent's words then call again and talk to different agent to confirm that.

Thank you so much for your kind reply!

But I want to add that, another two persons who are under the same officer H as me and have been issued SA on the same day, tried to contact the agent, and they both get the same answer, that their Sa eligibility has passed. I think this by no means a coincidence.

First of all if you compare your case with others you always get disappointed. And secondly different officers have different ways to work on. So think about this.
