Online Citizenship Application

Hi All,
I am planning to apply for online application for Citizenship but the official website says the following:
" At this time, you can only apply online if

• you’re randomly selected
• you’re eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship (opens in a new tab)
• you have a valid email address
• you’re between 18 to 54 years of age when you submit your online application
• you’re applying for yourself only (not with your family)
• you do not have a representative(opens in a new tab)
• in your physical presence calculation (opens in a new tab) , you do not include time spent outside Canada as a
  • Crown servant (opens in a new tab) or,
  • family member of a Crown servant"

What is RANDOMLY SELECTED mean here? How do they know whom to select to apply for citizenship?

Don't apply online, without going through details or trying to interpret the meaning of (Randomly selected).... just don't do it, this is sincere advice.

Not really. If you keep refreshing the page multiple times, you'll see the same same link and will have been "randomly selected". I'm just saving people a few webpage refreshes, that's all.
