I am hoping for this.I do not think New tracker works as E-CAS. There is no DM in new tracker, but in progress until you take oath. Please correct me if I am wrong, anyone who has DM in their portal.

Did you get a request to provide FP again?Good luck for interview and that is good news. At least some movement at London office.
I did my FPs in Feb 2020 and according to tracker my background was complete in March 2020 and looks like due to FPs expired, my background is again in progress
Hey I am just confused about language skills in progress mine also the same thing I submitted from celpip and expired last July 2020 I don't know how this new tracker works but we submit all the documents with the application right .if we didn't they returned to complete I guess and no test invited tooThey have used some batch script to change allot of status. Even mine got Updated:April 23, 2021. I guess actually means nothing.
They had done background verification for me in Feb 27 2020 marked as complete and now again its in progress.
We are going backward.
Most annoying is they have marked Language skills as in progress too. I already submitted by IELTS report. Come on what else you need. Or whats there to check.

So on this case if test completed and bg completed do still need interview or just they invited to right the oath ceremony?Guys, the 3 main things in the tracker are Background Check, Test and finally Oath. The other 3 things are completed with the final review of the file; whether without interview or after interview. Here is how the sequence work:
1. Background Check
2. Test Invite
3. Interview (If required)
4. Language, Physical Presence, Prohibitions (Final Review)
5. Oath
If at any stage the Background Check goes over 1 year then it goes back to "In process" and you are back into the queue again till it pass and this step is actually causing delays for a lot of older applicants as their background checks have expired and IRCC has to do them again putting them behind the line for few more months.
Not yet but I did my test on March 18, 2021. I am sure I will receive a FP request again when they touch my file again.Did you get a request to provide FP again?
Mine is showing Apr 26.All in process trackers are currently saying same thing as updated on April 23rd i guess.
Many people are waiting after test. I myself gave test on March 7th and after that dead silence. No interview, no DM from old E-cas, no oath. New tracker shows in processMine is showing Apr 26.
Its strange that its been nearly 2 months since I gave my test and the new tracker still shows as "in Process". Anyone else in the same situation ?
IMHO interview is only required when officer need to clarify something. Otherwise after BG and test officer can have final review (without interview) which leads to decision made and then finally Oath.So on this case if test completed and bg completed do still need interview or just they invited to right the oath ceremony?
I can only say as per my own experience. It felt like I was randomly selected. There was nothing that the officer really clarified.IMHO interview is only required when officer need to clarify something. @Wash an could u comment on this timeline.IMHO interview is only required when officer need to clarify something. Otherwise after BG and test officer can have final review (without interview) which leads to decision made and then finally Oath.
You got 2nd FP last month. Every step like that usually pushes the file 2/3 months back. I would say "within" 60 days you should get the test invite.@Wash an could u comment on this timeline.

They are trained not to show what they are checking if the case looks straight forward. It could be identity, language, physical presence in Canada etc., There has to be something.I can only say as per my own experience. It felt like I was randomly selected. I was wondering if they were checking my language skills since I didn’t get a very high score on my CELPIP speaking test (hated the experience of speaking to a computer). It makes sense that they blend the real objective with other things in the interview so we don’t know what they are checking. They are trained not to show what they are checking if the case looks straight forward.
