Noted and thank you.

Is there anything you may advise me that might be included in the letter in order not to make any technical mistakes on my PR application.

As I stated before, your visitor's visa application ha no bearing on your PR. See my previous post on this: #6,262

Hi all,

I require one major suggestion. I got my copr recently. In that copr, country of issue is mentioned as "Canada" but ideally I am Indian passport holder . Will it have any issue.

The reason for country of issue might be Canada is I renewed my indian passport prior to EE profile creation in Canada.

Same thing happened during my medicals, doctor told we need to keep country of issue in medicals as Canada.

@legalfalcon could you please let me know, country of issue would be passport issuing country or nationality.

The country of issue will be india. Lately there are many people who have experience such error. Although they do not have any impact and you can still use the documents.

If you want to get it ameneded, this is the procedure:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/request-amend-record-landing-confirmation-permanent-residence-valid-temporary-resident-documents.html

Thanks a lot for letting me know. I am much relieved now. @legalfalcon Moreover, if I want to do this change, can I send email to email ID which I used for getting the PR Confirmation portal.

I want to request my GCMS notes for the first time. What's the right link to use? I came across this link (https://www.getgcms.com/order-now) but it's from a blog not IRCC. Also, should I order e-GCMS(IRCC), e-GCMS(CBSA) or GCMS+?

Thanks in advance!
If you outside canada you can use the website you mentioned or any other 3rd party to apply for notes. If you are inside canada, just google “Access To Information” and you will get to the official website where you can apply. It’s not IRCC website

Every website like this explains what is GCMS and CBSA. If you don't have anyone in Canada, not even friends, your only option is ordering Notes via third-party websites. They'll give you a consent form on the name of a third-person and he'll apply for the Notes for you. Price is usually around 15$ for GCMS and 25$ for CBSA.

CBSA Notes only have extra info on Security processing (while it's in progress) and for most people - unuseful info from Border Control on when you entered and left Canada. In terms of text or structure they are the same as GCMS Notes.

GCMS+ means they'll send you also your files that you submit during AOR application. Very unuseful. Only could be of use for those who applied for Express Entry through agencies or consultants and had no idea which files were uploaded for application.
