Hello all,
Want to know people experience who have approved i140 and staying in Canada as PR and earning Canadian salary. Are they happy that they chose to stay in Canada instead of US?
I moved 2 months back to Canada on Canadian payroll..And I m still adjusting to high living cost in Canada..also bcz of lockdown I m not able to make new friends.so just thinking whether my decision of moving to Canada was right or wrong..in usa now atleast kids can go out and play with friends but in Canada it’s still lockdown, haven’t got vaccine here..
Plz provide me positive aspects of Canada..plz dnt provide negative comments to my post..I know I did mistake of not researching enough before moving to Canada..
I know one of the plus point is I dnt have to worry abt visa renewal..
Thank you

Lets get the cliche out of the way - every country has its ups and downs.

Lockdown in Canada definitely plays big role in re-thinking your decision on moving to Canada but this is only temporary things will go back to normal eventually (hopefully). Canada is expensive compared to US (except health care), of course there are horror stories regarding health care in Canada. You will adjust to the lifestyle pretty quickly give it some time.

Not having to worry about visa renewals, freedom in choosing jobs/employers beats every shortcomings in my opinion. Canada has lot to offer but if you compare to US you are never going to be satisfied.
