How does one get a mundane job in Canada?

How can one enter Canada and try to apply for a very mundane job (NOC D) such as a janitor or a waitress?

Thank you! :)

You need a job offer with a LMIA to show no Canadian can do the job and then apply for a closed work permit. The work experience will not give you PR. Don't think they give out many LMIAs for janitors or waitresses.

You need to have a work permit to work for ANY job in Canada.

It would be harder to get a "mundane job" since getting a LMIA on those jobs may not be possible.

YES THAT'S MY POINT!

What about an open work permit? Wouldn't that be easier than a closed one?

Don’t know your situation but assume you aren’t eligible for an open work permit. OWPs are only available in specific situations (PGWP, spouse of student or spouse on closed work permit, spouse of PR etc.).

Only people under certain condition can get an open work permit. So what is yours?

Spouse of foreign worker? Recent grad from Canadian University? There are working holiday and special pathway.
Your questions seem to be all over the place. From home care worker to mundane job to high paying professional who doesn't want to invest their money and time but want PR.

Good luck with that. We have enough qualified people here in Canada already doing "mundane" jobs. I actually resent that word, because EVERYONE working, every job imaginable serves a purpose.
