No, not at all. It wont change anything regarding the representative. I have one and still ordered GCMS notes.Hi,
Can someone clarify if i request GCMS notes, will they remove my current representative who are part of my application ?
As i understand that, i need to attach consent form to request my spouse details as well. But, in the consent form, my details will be mentioned as representative and applicant details will contain spouse details.
thanks
ok, thank you. Can you please confirm after receiving GCMS notes, your representative on your file did not change at all or removed right ? or you still awaiting to receive it.No, not at all. It wont change anything regarding the representative. I have one and still ordered GCMS notes.

The reason i am stressing on this is, for whatever reason my immigration consultant firm ( representative ) , they are not ready to apply GCMS notes. Rather, they asked me to apply but they specifically requested "kindly ensure that our firm is not removed as your legal representative" . Hence, I am trying to be bit careful before initiating this.
Can you please validate below details whether i am doing right thing for filling imm5744e. In my case, myself ( Primary Applicant) & spouse & kid residing in Canada. It's been overall 15 months since my application submitted ( oct,2020 biometric was given ) but since then no update and only background check is in progress. So, I decided to apply GCMS notes for all 3 of us to know what's going on and whether background process is stuck for myself or spouse and I understand i need to attach consent form for my dependent ( spouse & kid ).
Section 1 ( Designated Representative Information ) - i will fill my details ( primary applicant ) as representative
Section 2 ( Applicant Information ) - Spouse details with signature in blue ink
Section 2.1 ( Related Individual Information ) - Kid with relationship to applicant and both parents signature in blue ink ( i.e., for minor as explained in 2nd page of imm5744e )
Assuming i don't have to fill primary applicant again within Section 2.
I thought if i fill my details ( primary applicant ) as representative then there is change they may remove existing firm/representative on my file ?
It would be great if you can clarify these things. Thanks for looking into this.
ok, thanks for confirming. Appreciate it. Hoping all looks good in GCMS notes on your end.I did receive my GCMS notes two weeks ago and we still have our representative. We didn't consult our representative before applying for the notes because we didn't think that was necessary. Section 1 and 2 is fine , we don't have dependents on our file.
We applied around March 15 and received the notes on April 21st.ok, thanks for confirming. Appreciate it. Hoping all looks good in GCMS notes on your end.
May i know the timeline they took it for getting back with GCMS notes. i believe it's 30 calendar days max.
thanks.

I am looking for a help here.
My sister is in Canada but I haven't chosen her as representative in my express entry file.
Can she order GCMS notes for me and fill in her details in "Designated Representative’s Information "?
