continuous work experience

i graduated in 2020 from india and am planning to start my diploma in humber in sept 2021, i would then also try for PR, but even if i keep working till August
my workex, in india goes like this-

1 may 2020 to 17 oct 2021- portfolio manager(noc1112), paid internship, 8hrs 5 days a week
18oct2020 to 3dec- portfolio manager(different company) employment, 8hrs 6 days a week
*gap till feb8*
8 feb 2021 to 30march 2021- audit analyst (noc1111) employment 8hrs 5 days a week
1 april2021 to 31july 2021(august im planning to move to canada for my diploma)- portfolio manager, the first firm i interned in - 8hrs 5days a week

this completes 12 months with a gap. would i be eligible for applying '1yr work ex' in home country?

if i get a paid internship certificates for the months there is a gap, would i then be eligible?

in any case, would i be able to get the points for the '1 year work experience in home country' ?

any suggestions as to how iwould be able to become eligible for PR after my 1 year diploma, im considering learning french.

You will not be able to count this as 1 year of continuous work experience. The work experience needs to be in a single NOC in order to count.

You will most likely need to work for a year in Canada in a skilled occupation after you complete your 1 year diploma before you may qualify for PR.

If your main objective is to get PR, then I would extremely strongly recommend that you take a 2 year program (or two 1 year programs) so that you qualify for a 3 year PGWP to increase your chances of being successful in getting PR.

ok, thankyou so much. for now, i have the offer letter for a 3 semester program from humber, lets see if i could manage my points after that, if not ill apply for a secomd course,
