Yep, that's totally normal. It's been 1.5 months since FP request for me.
I was only able to confirm with IRCC Vancouver that they received my FPs & report from RCMP.
Nothing else.

I got an invite to give online test on 03-May-2021, I am planning to give in this week 07-May-2021.

what would be the next steps?? Do I need to wait for finger prints (FP) request and interview??

Not necessarily, everyone gets a fingerprint and interview request. You might end up having DM after your test.

I'm sorry. Who is this "they" you're referring to? RCMP or IRCC?

We passed our online test on March 23 (Feb 2020 application), have not received any request for interview yet. Anyone knows how long would take to get DM? Based on what I see in the CIC website, they are currently processing the April 2019 applications, would it mean that we will get DM when they are done with 2019s? Or we can expect to get DM within 3 months?

Its taking around 2-3 months for test - oath. So you are on track. Mostly by June, you should be on oath schedule. Good luck.

Was thinking about going through the US, but its no longer possible since US closed doors for non US citizens. The only to way to reach Canada before May 24th is to take visa and travel to another country, take RT-PCR test, stay there until the results are available and then fly to Canada. The risk involved is too high and hence its also not an option.

Hence it seems the only remaining option is to request to postpone the test to late June or July and book a flexible ticket to Canada for some day after May 24th and hope that Canada does not extend the restrictions beyond 30 days.
For me, the last date for requesting IRCC for rescheduling the test date is June 1st (30 days from the test start date).

Did anyone request CIC to allow them to give the test while abroad (because they are stranded abroad due to a flight ban?)
