Huh? That's weird.

Are you using a number that is shown in the following format on the PR card? XXXX-XXXX. If you are using the number under the "ID" field on the PR card, that's the UCI# and NOT the PR card number.

The PR card number is on the back of the card AFAIK.
i just put the PR card number (the one you are referring to, which is also noted as ID on the PR card) without the "-" dash sign in the UCI field. for me it was always working like this.

i think you are referring to the number on the back side of the card as a PR card number. sorry for confusion.
anyways our friend has got his results using the either one :)

Many applicants did not receive AOR presumably due to a system error.

Since your application is in IP status, you should be good IMO. Nothing to worry about.

Good luck!

Hopefully, we'll see some good progress for September applicants in the near future.
yeah i guess that's what happened. I literally didn't get anything or updates from IRCC until i checked the status for the first time yesterday.

Yup. That number you are entering is NOT the PR card number haha :). That's called the UCI. I guess this confusion is common because that is the only number you immediately see on the card and assume that is PR number.

Anyway, the OP sorted it out and got the status. All good!

would appreciate if someone could update the tracker, please.

Hello everyone,

My application status is also 'In Process' just like most of you. I have a question though.

I plan to leave Canada for an extended period of time. I need to know what are the various stages I should be expecting from now on, and which of those could be performed remotely/online. This will help me plan my absence accordingly. As far as I know, there is

- Fingerprinting request Is it asked from everyone? Can it be done from outside Canada?
- Citizenship Test Again, can everybody chose to do it online?
- Citizenship Interview Is it mandatory for all? Again, is it possible online?
- Citizenship Oath I guess this has to be done in-person, unless you tell me otherwise.

Any other steps along the way? Please share. Thanks!

So far, test, interviews and Oath are done online and you must be physically present in Canada.
Not everyone gets FP request, and if you do, you may supply FP to RCMP from outside Canada

Thanks for replying. If these are done online, one still has to be physically present? This is contradictory, isn't it?

Am I missing something?

Edit:

Ok, found it.
