It is a receipt, the payment page literally says this. Click on "some online permanent residence applications". How much more obvious can it be. It's spelled out:I suspect the process is not built to allow you to upload receipt! So you will have to pay on the day or else its not submitted. You will get a refund eventually but still sucks.
He's not commenting on behalf of IRCC. IRCC responded to his tweet and said people should not be paying in advance. I really want to know where you guys are reading this, and if there's a pdf with the briefing details out there. If not, well, someone is spreading misinformation...And that's what happens when IRCC drops a bomb and flees. People start making up their own theories and making everything more confusing.Also, is it true that after today's briefing PCCs are actually required upfront? Can anyone confirm?
