Hello,
I moved from Calgary to Montreal so I had to update my address and I updated my address to Montreal. Now my file is being transferred to Montreal. I heard Montréal office is very slow and there aren’t a lot of files being processed, is that true? Is there anything I can do now or just wait ? Am I going to have wait a really long time ?

Calgary is also slow so you’d probably be better off in Montreal. Also, if you’re a 2020 applicant, IRCC seems to be processing these applications within the 12-16 months timeframe

Thank you !! I hope it gets processed within that timeframe without any issues .

Same here for test timeline, no news. I'm hearing anecdotally that /some/ Montreal files are moving forward, albeit extremely slowly - it seems to be based on when the DM was issued - looks to be (as of now) at least 4-5 months between DM and getting the Oath invitation, but, as usual, times vary wildly from case to case.

Best of luck to everyone.
