Would add your employer should also be declaring your employment and providing you with a T4. You need to refile your taxes and declare your income.

I have not been able to convince my employer for a T4 and paystub, is there any way for me to file for PR ?

That would mean you are self-employed and your taxes would be filed differently. What do you actually do and are you working for an organization or are you actually self-employed. You really need to speak to an accountant because if you have been filing taxes with zero income you likely owe money.

According to my organization ( religious organization) they are justing passing my salary to me as religious worker(pastor, clergy) and therefore they cannot keep me on their pay roles, I can speak with an accountant to refile for my taxes in that case will that open a way for me to file for PR ?

You are essentially working for them as an independent contractor. You wouldn't qualify for any program that requires you to be employed by a Canadian organization.

It really sounds very difficult for me, would finding a new employer, getting T4, paystub and a job offer help me, so technically I cannot even show any Canadian work experience either, the display of the Canadian Organization paying me into my Canadian account every month would not prove anything for my case ?

That doesn't matter. Self-employed people are also paid by companies. If your employer is not paying you as a permanent employee you can't claim you're their employee.

You are self employed as a religious worker and it seems you are getting a stipend each month for your work. You would not receive a T4. If eligible you can apply through Express Entry - Federal Skilled worker program.

Just wanted to double check, you suggest I can apply for express entry in this category ?

If you are eligible. You can count your Canadian experience as ”foreign experience.” You want a score of 468+ and there has been no draw this year. What province are you in?

According to recent news, low-wage LMIA work permits will only be issued for one year starting from September 26. My friend, a religious worker, is renewing his Indian passport, which will take about a month. His current work permit expires in June 2025, and he’s thinking of applying for an extension now in September 2024. Should he apply with his old passport to get a 2 year work permit, or should he wait for his new passport? If he applies with the old passport, can he update IRCC with the new passport information during the application process, and will this affect his application? Also, will the recent LMIA changes impact LMIA-exempt work permit holders working at minimum wage, including the validity of the extension (one year vs. two years)?
