Hey all! Hope everyone is safe.

I know this may sound little ridiculous but what is the average age of MBA candidates in a university such as UNB, Manitoba and other Tier 2 Public Universities.

I am currently 23 and will be going for an MBA Program this fall. (September 2021)

I know it should not matter much but most of my batchmates (as per university Whatsapp group) , are well over 30.

Any tips and suggestions as to how I can get accustomed to such eco system?

Also, is this the case for colleges who offer Post Graduate Certificate programs?

Thank You.

Age doesnt matter. More than half of my former classmate were between 23-25 and i was 35 by then

Most people wouldn't do a MBA at 23. As the whole idea is to have work experience and then do a MBA to establish some mid-level management skills, at 23 I would def say you would be among the youngest.

Post Grad business certificate programmes are usually more 22-25 year olds.

But it really depends on the program and school and region in Canada too.

MBA is for people with experience. You can't contribute much to the discussion if you have no experience. The learning also will less effective. However there are certain programs targeted towards younger students, most notably Degroote School of Business MBA w Coop

By the time I join, I'll have roughly 2.5 to 3 years of work ex.
