Did you clim points for your job, if you did, then you should wait until you receive your COPR.

If you claimed points for arranged employment, one of the conditions was that the offer would have is that the employment is offered "for at least one year after [IRCC] issue(s) your permanent resident visa." If you leave your job, then the "year after clause will also go away" as the employer who gave you that undertaking will withdraw the offer, and thus you will lose the points.

So far IRCC has not issued any circulars or policy in this regard. As soon as your change your job, and if your application is still in progress, you have to inform IRCC, and your offer of arranged employment will be subject to verification, even if your eligibility is passed.

That means anyone who didn't claim any point for job, will not face any issue even if they leave the job.
As per my case, my wife is the main applicant and I have applied as spouse. I didn't claim any points for my job as it is not a Canadian working experience though I have mentioned the experience in work history.
My question is if I want to leave my job now, would it create any impact on our application? If I leave the job, I just need to inform IRCC about it, isn't it?
Please suggest.

As a dependent spouse you only get points for your Canadian work experience. You can leave you job if you have an open work permit and work for any employer.

MEP : Dec 2nd
BIL : Dec 2nd Biometrics #, enrolment and expiry date started showing up under Applicant Information for both me and spouse
ADR: Dec 2nd RCMP Criminal Record Check from spouse only
RCMP submitted: Dec 21st
COPR: Apr 30th
Background check completed: Mar 15th (just heard about this today, along with COPR)
Approval & COPR: Apr 30th

PS: do not lose hope!

did an officer review your application ?

Yes, First one was case processing agent and after that Officer review at RROC. Notes said "Application was found to require local knowledge, so file is e transferred to Mission for processing".
