Hi guys! My situation is kinda close to yours..inland applicant with outland dependents with expired copr due to covid. Anyone who have been waiting to get landed? I received our copr feb 2020 and got expired april2020. My work permit is about to expire soon too. I know the feeling being away from family. I havent seen my family for almost 2 years now. Ive done everything. I dont kmow who should i contact to to get me landed so my family can come here. MP is useless.

I am thinking to bring my dependants to Canada ( wife and 2 kids ) . Do you think IRCC will speed and finalise my application if all the familly will be in Canada !!!!

It will, the question is how are you thinking to bring them down here? They need the IRCC letter of authorization even if they hold visitor visa.
yes I know that , I am waiting for the authorization , my laywer said I can get it because my dependant (husband has open work permit ,and my 2 kids are minor) . So it's can work
Every case is different, I am on a work permit so as my wife, although they denied the authorization for our 16-year-old daughter to come even when she holds a visitor visa. They said is not essential and because we are going through a permanent resident application with her included. On the other hand, because I have two baby kids (Canadian citizens) they approved my mom's authorization. So is a little bit tricky.

Do you guys know anyone who got COPR since covid started in Jan 2020 for Inland Principle applicant and outland dependents ? I have applied on Oct 24/2020 (AOR) and it still says "we are doing your background check"

So this is what i got
I applied sept 2018
Gave medical in may 2019 on request
Added my spouse in 2019 july
Cic added them in july 2020 and sent the medical request for both of us. Gave medical in the first week of august 2020. Then a long silence
Now on 13th april 2021 i got a call from no called id and it was the officer assigned to my case. He just verified who i am and then said over the phone that he needs my wife to give a medical again and i told him that she and i gave one few months back and he said i need new one for your spouse to finalize the application. I did not argue and got her medical done on 20 april. And since there is no update even after passing the medical.
So i guess it was just a hope.
my wife is outland though.
