Is there non-routine applicant who got Online test invitation here?

I'm July 2018 Non-Routine applicant, and got a test invitation on Mar 2020, and the test got canceled due to COVID19. since then no invitation yet.

I wonder if this is because I'm non routine or not.

So you received an interview invitation roughly one month after completing the test? What did IRCC ask you to bring to the interview?

I got it from MP. IRCC told the MP that I'm non-routine applicant in 2019. that's why I got the first test invitation almost 20 months later.

That's strange...my MP couldn't give me information that isn't already in the GCMS notes.

I don't know if my application is non-routine or routine, but I applied in July 219 and received my first test invite in March 2020. My original test was cancelled and I only received the Online Test Invitation earlier this month. I had to wait more than one year to get a second test invitation.

given that, you must be a routine applicant. Usually it took 1~3 years for non-routine to get the first invitation before COVID19. The reason you needed to wait logger than 1 year is because of COVID19.

Yes, a bit longer than I expected, but always grateful.
I believe my processing office is Scarborough.

I received the interview invitation around 1.5 months after completing the test.

I am asked to submit copies of my passports prior to the interview.

Hi everyone, Me and my wife applied for the citizenship together in a single package back in Feb 2020. I received the invitation to appear for the online test today however my wife has not received any such communication? Has that happened with anyone else? We expected to receive the invitation at the same time given we applied together - but not sure what to think of this at this point. Will appreciate any guidance. Thank you in advance!

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 15, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 13, 2020.

What happens if someone forgot to click picture of their photo identification during online citizenship test but completed the test and passed. I know the result is invalid but what happens after that?

They would ask you to take the test again but you just have to wait for the officer to contact you.

I cannot comment on your case specifically, but what I’ve seen is that ppl who are still waiting for more than two years tend to be a high-profile applicants… and there’s not a definite answer. Have you try a writ of madamus?
On the other hand, I’ve seen 2020 applicants who got asked for FP (this makes application non-routine) who got invited for test and successfully completed the test..
