Hi,

I am applying for a study permit and I want to know if my home ties are sufficient to satisfy the VO.

I am studying a masters in a third country and I am applying for a PhD. I have job prospects in my home country, I have a brother in my country as well and my parents own a property their. My parents are living with me, they have a temporary residence (they obtained that status a couple of years ago and had to renewed them again due to covid 19 and travel restrictions) that expires in a few month. My brother is also studying in the same country as I am.

Are those enough home ties?

And thats leave 8% of rejection... but as long as you meet requirement and submit relevant supporting documents, chances could be you are among 92% of success rate. I guess you are not suggesting not apply because people get refusal when applying for phd studies in canada for whatsover reason

No, I already applied and submitted all the supporting documents I could. I just wasnt sure (and I am still not) if my home ties are enough. Everything else I think is fine.
