[DECEMBER] Online Citizenship Applicants

Seems like a happy day for many in this group Congrats for all the new AOR's, esp. @Rijo02 (must be a big relief after the photo dimensions issue).

I also called IRCC today. I don't know the date it happened, but my status is now 'decision made'. Looking forward to the oath

Oh yea...it is indeed a huge relief knowing that my application has been accepted and will be processed.

I was just worried about having my application returned after about 4 months because of photo specification (esp. as I notified the photo dimension just recently). But the posts of @namratha_s and @simons helped me feel that everything will be fine.

Guys, thanks for your inputs to this forum.......waiting for IRCC with you guys giving your views/opinions have made it weigh easier.

Now, the next wait starts in different areas.......AORs, Test Invites, Interviews, etc!

It seems the Test invite 2 weeks after AOR for online applicants is no longer obtainable based on guys waiting since their AOR. @vg1989, do you want to do us the honors of updating your AOR, test invite, and interview timeline?

Oh you mean the Pending/Waiting AoR, Test Invite and Interview lists right? I updated it last Thursday, so lets wait a day or two to cover atleast 1 week's activity.

She was telling that it’s a pilot project and they have randomly selected 180 applications to test mew system … didn’t tell anything other than that

Hahaha @svk1520, smart question. I bet this wouldn't have come to @happygarcha's mind. Maybe we should plan for who is next in line for an interview to kindly present this question to the IRCC officer on our behalf.

Absolutely.. I think we can just be polite and ask their plan as a social service for the community - 1st step towards becoming Canadian Citizen.. haha

Hi did they check ur proof of English during the interview. Just curious. As I lost all my documents. I have soft copies of the documents but do not have any originals.

My interview was on the 30th March, and my interviewer did ask me to show my IELTS result. Maybe you can call IRCC and ask them what can you do to help your case if you get an interview invite (not everyone does btw)

so you had the hard copy of your IELTS results? what i sent them to IRCC during immigration process and i dont have it handy? just a black/white photocopy

180 applications only !! That’s a bad news for all online applicants , it’s going to be a long wait !!

180 for first batch i think .. they will continue with online then they will get more people later when they sure that software and system is able to handle load of more applications.. (my thinking)
