guys, I need some advice from you all. My current score is 482( 472+15-5(birthday coming in June)). My IELTS was S=8, R=7, L=8, W=7. Would you suggest me to study for IELTS and max it out? I can push my score to 488 with R=8+ and L=8.5... what do you think?
Keep on pushing. There should be at least one FSW draw this year. i hope. you know ircc keeps on surprising everyone. yes surprises

No its not MBA, its mater of law
I believe this credential is from Indian authority. An LL.M will be assessed as a Master's degree (assuming that it meets all the requirements, from a recognized university, etc.) Nobody can really confirm whether they'll get masters equivalency from WES because in the past there were incidents where applicants from the same batch (classmates) were given different equivalency to their same masters / bachelors. You can apply and wait for their assessment. You ain't losing anything

Proceed to get it assessed then if you are really into boosting crs. You ain't losing anything except the payment, if that credential isn't given masters equivalency

So optimistic. But what's special about May 6th? I'd be surprised to see one beore September to be honest
You misunderstand. I'm not saying there will be draws right after May 6th. All I was saying was that in my opinion there is zero chance of a draw before that date. I was responding to someone who was asking if there would be a draw this week. I agree it's most likely going to be the fall before we see a no program specified draw.

This is what's so special about May 6th.

Finally the first-come-first-serve model has been ended!
LOL, as a former OINP applicant I find hilarious how this is basically Express Entry 2.0 but with wage distinction and 22 months of processing times. Having +12 months of work experience in a NOC A or B, I can't see how anyone would choose to apply for this instead of CEC.

Canadian work experience: length
(Cumulative)
  • 12 Months or more – 4 points
  • Less than 12 months – 0 points

  • Haha

I have 2 applications in process (EE and paper based). I am going on mat leave in 2 weeks. Do I need to inform IRCC I am on mat leave or they will only need to know when I give birth to a child, that's it? Please share your experience. Thanks!
