I want to pursue MA linguistics in future, i ll be applying for Jan intake and a lot of American Universities offering Jan intake for linguistics. Moreover, visa approval ratio for Pakistanis is also good for USA . Most of the Universities in USA are requiring only 6.5 overall with 6 in each module .my score is 7 with LRSW 7.5,7,6.5,6
IF I GO TO US FIRSTLY, WILL IT BE EASY FOR ME TO TRANSFER MY COURSE FROM US TO A CANADIAN UNIVERSITY. I WANT TO GET SETTLED IN CANADA BECAUSE MY SISTER IS CANADIAN CITIZEN AND LIVING IN EDMONTON.
MOREOVER I M THINKING THAT AFTER DOING MY MASTERS I LL BE DOING AN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING COURSE TO BECOME A TEACHER IN CANADA ..
PLZ GUIDE ME WHAT TI DO ...
CANADIAN VISA APPROVAL RATIO IS NOT GOOD FOR PAKISTANIS EVEN THROUGH SDS.

Two different countries and two different education systems so transferring credits depends on the university you attend. You need to talk to the university if they will allow to transfer credits. If you want to be a teacher, you don’t take an english language teaching course, you take a B.Ed.

Yes, you will need to get a study permit. None of us can tell you if you will get a study permit easily.

If your objective is to be in Canada, the best option is to take your degree in Canada from the start - not to start your studies in the US and then attempt to transfer to Canada.

Make sense to do research if that Uni accept transfer credits from the US, then apply SP. you can apply SP but what if you cant transfer? Or you can transfer but dont get approved SP... Best bet is to complete your studies in US and immigration under economic programs. Or take studies in Canada from day 1

You should re-write IELTS and achieve a higher score. IRCC generally does not want to see any individual scores below 6.5 if you are applying for a Master's. The 6 you have now weakens your profile.

Make sure you pick a top ranked school to attend.

If possible, it would be good for your father to show income generated from the farm property.

The fact you have a Canadian sibling living in Canada will weaken your application. There is nothing you can do about this.

If you have previous travel to countries requiring visas (e.g. US, UK), you will want to show evidence of this and this will strengthen your application.

Canada doesnt descriminate based on your Nationality. It doesnt mean your friend from India was approved, and they wont because you are Pakistani. Thats inferiority and is a baseless accusation, at 22yrs, potential Masters Student, you should be better than this. All the best

You need to get a study permit first. The university will not look at transferring any courses until you are accepted and enrolled in the school. I can’t tell you your chances of getting a permit.

It's possible to get approval with 6.5 overall but again, individual scores below 6.5 weaken your profile for a Master's. It doesn't matter what country you are from. This is true for all applicants.

Your profile is weakened by the fact that you have a sibling in Canada. You should do whatever you can to strengthen your profile if approval is important to you.

You asked us for expert advice and that's what you got. If you want to ignore this advice, then that's your choice. Seems silly to ask for advice and then ignore it, but it's your life.

well
I know a lot of cooworkers from both Pakistan and India. I don't think Canada only want to "c" Pakistanis students. But your education path for your career goal doesn't seem convincing. I am sure people get visas with less than 6 is some area if they are not applying to be a master in linguistics when language isn't the most important area of studies.
