Do I need to submit foreign work experience documents for spouse in EE after ITA

Hello Folks,

I have a PNP nomination under the process and I am working on documents ahead of time. In my express entry profile, I have mentioned my spouse's foreign work experience (in the section - Spouse Work History), though its not contributing any points. As far as I understand, we can claim points only for spouse's Canadian work experience. In this scenario, will I be asked to submit the experience letter for my spouse to prove her foreign experience at any stage? Kindly advise. TIA.

You won't be required to provide reference letter for your spouse work history.

As you are not claiming points for your spouse work history, you won't need to fill in the spouse "Work history" section when you fill in the application after receiving the invitation to apply.

However, that work will have to be declared in the "Personal history section".

Thanks @sgoldsmith, I would be grateful if you could elaborate the below points:

"As you are not claiming points for your spouse work history, you won't need to fill in the spouse "Work history" section when you fill in the application after receiving the invitation to apply." - Does that mean I should modify my EE profile by removing Work history section of spouse?

"However, that work will have to be declared in the "Personal history section". - Where is this Personal history section comes and at what stage I should do this declaration?
TIA.

1. To be honest, I don't remember whether the EE profile form lets you move forward if you don't fill in the spouse work history. So you would have to try what happens if you leave out that section.

2. The "Personal history" section is only visible to candidates who have received and accepted an Invitation to Apply. This is the section where you need to mention what you have done in the last 10 years of your life (work, studies, travel, etc.).

1. Ok, no problem. I can try that.

2. Yes, I can see this section now in my post ITA application form for PNP. If we declare work history in spouse's Personal history section, do we need to submit experience letter/employment reference letter?

The work experience listed under "Personal History" when applying for PR via Express Entry does not trigger a request for supporting documents.
