I think with credentials like him, it will be easier to get a fresh PR than to come to canada himself, stay there and then sponsor his family.

Agree but just telling the options. It takes a while to renounce your PR as all the paperwork needs to be filled out. They are eligible for EE but don’t know their CRS score.

How do they have a score of 491-526? Perfect IELTs scores - 476...which is a good score.

IELTS assumed : S:7, L:9, R:8, W:7 IELTS.

• Age = 85
• Level of education = 91 (Assuming 2 years diploma is not considered as a masters.)
• Official Languages = 122
  • First Official Language = 122
  • Second Official Language = 0
• Canadian work experience = 63

Subtotal - Core/Human capital factors = 361

Subtotal Skill transferability factors = 100 (basically because of his canadian work exp and halfway decent english )

Additional Points
Study in Canada = 30

Total 85 + 91 + 122 + 63 + 100 + 30 = 491.

My wife has done masters from india

Also does this mean I can apply for PR without renouncing my older PR ??

No, you will need to renounce your older PR first.

After you have renounced your PR, you can apply under EE-FSW.

Applying through EE, I do not have to renounce my expired PR correct ??

No, you will need to renounce your PR first.
The advantage here will be you will be living with your family (in India) and you will have a clean cut status.

The other option of entering canada via land border is dicey and may require you to live without your family for sometime.

YOU DO NOT REQUIRE A CONSULTANCY
DO NOT WASTE MONEY

More you research on this venture, more you will realize that there is no need of a third party to do this, later at some point you'll feel stupid for seeking help from a third party agent. Cause sometimes you know more than this so called consultants. IRCC has published guidelines on everything that an individual can do everything on his own. Also IRCC never recommends to hire a consultant but it's the individual's discretion. I'd recommend not to.
