Give it a give or 2 you should start getting some GU. Currently Spet week 1 isreceiving them including me.

I see a lot of the people mentioning "Criminality" and "Security" as different statuses, I only see "Background" on my application online. Also, online it says "Background" is pending, though I called the agent today, he said it is completed. But he didn't mention "Criminality" and "Security" so was wondering where do you guys see these options?

When you call ircc the call centre agents give us an update on criminality and security. If I’m not wrong background check usually includes both criminality and security. Background remains in progress in the online account till the final approval of the file.

Thats correct. The updates we get from the CIC agents doesn't reflect on the online cic account

1st GU today. Log in today and it showed Application Updated in place of Submitted then went back to submitted again.

I really hope this mean something good.

It was Eligibility: rec passed
Criminality on progress
Security :not started since Feb 8 till I called 2 weeks ago so hopefully this GU is a positive progress.

Main applicant + 2 Inland dependents

Got the 2nd GU last night when I log in.
Im actually confused cause when I called IRCC, rep said its still same status so what the GU for? He's not actually very helpful giving answers. Said officer, still working on file.
