Me and My sister are a Permanent Residence of Canada since 2009 and now we recently came from India through PRTD and got PRTD approval 4 months ago but now we are living in Canada. We already applied for renewal of PR card but didn't received yet. so is my dad eligible to apply for an open work permit from India? as we are below 22 years of age. please reply me as soon as possible.

Hi I have no idea but any option for that for my dad can live with us or if possible that's he can work so it will be helpful us for financially what he has to do ? Please guide us so We follow that way your guidance is very important for us.

Your father is not eligible for an open work permit.

If your father wishes to work in Canada, he will need to first find an employer in Canada who is willing to give him a job offer. That employer will then need to obtain an approved LMIA. Once the LMIA is approved, your father will then be able to apply for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.
