Hello everyone my asylum case being denied in the US early of 2020 and av no legal status here previously I received written form from ICE says .
You are required to retain this permit in your possession and to surrender it to the transportation line at the time of your departure unless you depart over the land border of the United states in which case you must surrender it to a Canadian immigration officer on the Canadian border or to a United states immigration officer of the Mexican border

I'm totally depressed of US immigration process I don't wanna stay in the us anymore pls help

Unfortunately, having claimed asylum in the US makes you ineligible for asylum in Canada. The law changed last year. And you can not cross the land border into Canada at present.

Unless you have family members in Canada you will be sent right back to the US who will take you into custody and deport you.

I'm sorry for your situation.

Do you have any family members who are in Canada? If so, then it may be possible for you to make a claim in Canada.

Thank you I have one of my cousin in Canada sir
Unfortunately a cousin is too distant a relative and this does not allow you to claim refugee status here.

The form doesn’t say you can go to either of those countries, it says you need to provide immigration or customs officials in those countries the form if you enter them. The US can’t provide or insist either of those 2 countries accept you and allow entry.

It doesn't work that way unfortunately. As said above, the U.S. cannot grant you entry to Canada. That's up to Canada. At this time it's unfortunately not possible for you to claim asylum here. If you try, you will be returned to the U.S. immediately.

As explained before, because you have claimed refugee status in the US, attempting to claim refugee status in Canada is no longer an option for you. You are specifically excluded from that class of immigration.
There is, however, no barrier to trying to immigrate through one of the other means (Express Entry, PNP). You might try looking for opportunities that way.

And to be clear, don’t try to cross the border into Canada illegally. You will put you life at risk as it’s very dangerous to do so, and the outcome on you case will be a denial in Canada since you have already failed asylum in the USA. Which country are you from if you don’t mind me asking? Perhaps you can consider other countries in South America?
