HK applicant here. FSW PNP Outland. AOR: 9th Dec 2020, MEP/BIL: 15th Jan 2021. My GMCS just arrived yesterday and shows Criminality pass (which I highly doubt, since my HK PCC has not arrived yet), Eligibility not started, security not started, info sharing in progress. Unfortunately, very little progress has been made in 4 months time!

The info in the notes might be one month old already...Pls check the generation date. Mine was generated on the very same day I ordered my notes but was released to me after one whole month. Good strategy to discourage ordering notes though.

I received a repeat biometrics request letter, stating that my fingerprints were not clear and asked me to re-enroll. This in my opinion is a sign that they are processing our cases :)

Passing Eligibility is the most important step in the process, so I do think you are in good shape!

Aor 30 march. Born and raised in hong kong but british nationality. CEC candidate. got a request for hk pcc and that the certificate should be sent to the office in quarry bay. Does this mean my case will be processed by HKVO? Any ideas?

You are very likely to be processed in HKVO

Oh thank you!
i got this request today: “We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents:
Hong kong police certificate”

does this mean this is the last step before PPR? They gave me 60 days. I’ve seen a couple threads where people got PPR right after hk pcc in 3 months but a couple that took so long. And Im 1 month into the the process.

It's hard to say. That really depends on different offices and individual cases. Under the pandemic, I'm afraid that nothing is for sure.

the RCMP told me they could not do fingerprints and told me to go to a commissionaire. Has anyone done fingerprints from Rcmp accredited commissionaire?
