How much of your course is left? Has it been paid fully? Extensions are not that strict, people have shown around 2-5 K CAD and have got approvals.hi everyone , i go to BCIT and i am looking to extend my study permit. i have all the other requirements good to go and i just wanna know how much i need to show as proof of funds?
You need to show funds for the cost of living for 1 year at least. E.g. 900*12months = 10,800CAD or until you graduate. Since you have still a long way to go, you will need to show proof for 1 year.Yes summer 2022
If you already know then why are you asking?Has anyone done this?? like I know someone that showed only 2400$
Are you working? Usually visa officers need to see money for your entire stay. But there have been cases of approval with less $$$$. It's a risk that you can take.Has anyone done this?? like I know someone that showed only 2400$
Lol just need to hear someone say it so I don't think I'm crazyIf you already know then why are you asking?
I've done it before in 2019 too. and yes I'm working. I extended it from 2019 to 2021 and now doing from 2021 to 2022.
So if you've done it before, why do you ask again lol?
Anyways very unlikely that you will be given an extension, from reading your past posts, the main point you should focus on is convincing the officer that you will finish your program. Since you already did an extension before and have been changing programs frequently it will raise red flags.
If you've been in the country since 2015, did you finish atleast 1 program? Unfortunately, study permits are given to students and their main objective is to study.
(winter January to April 2020) ,was not able to go to school so i took this semester off.I have been studying since 2015 I didn't take breaks , the program I did before was engineering and it just wasn't for me so I switched to marketing.
