Express entry PNP Inland stream
Got my CoPR on March 26th 2021
Application submitted on September 9th 2020
Application wrongly refused on 21st of October 2020
Requested for reconsideration the same day and application reopened on 3rd December 2020. Spouse(dependant on PR app) recently joined me in Canada, like a month ago. All checks passed December 3rd.

Wishing everyone waiting for CoPR the very best
This is good news for PNP Applicants. Congrats!

@Toks01 - Congratulations on getting the COPR.

Question - I believe your spouse joined you on another visa? I think they are issuing the COPR if spouses/dependents are already in Canada

Hello All, I am a 2019 April, CEC applicant with outland spouse.
My spouse received her stamped visa and Copr on January 2021, after a long wait. But i am still waiting for COPR.
I saw many people in this group like me did not see their family for more than 1 year. It is very depressing.
Is there anyone who got COPR after their dependant visa stamped? Thank you

I believe you are the first one who had their spouse's visa stamped, but not yours. We haven't seen much movement for spouses/dependents and IRCC's processes seem to be inconsistent when it comes outland dependents.

Did you try calling them? I think the hard part is already done in your case; not sure why they would hold you up.

Hi @mstefan! Would you please share your timeline and experience of applying BOWP and SOWP together. Lot of people are considering this option to call their spouse in canada your advise would be highly appreciated.

Hi guys, anyone here had to withdraw their outland spouse visitor visa application cos it's taking too long and apply for SOWP instead while PR is taking forever?. I woke up to "what if I had applied for my spouse differently" . I just need you guys input with a lot of stuffs going on in my head. Lol
Any suggestion will be appreciated thanks!

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I have called them many times. But they are asking me to wait for my COPR.
Can I apply AL for her? Is there any possibility that she can get AL?
Thanks

I am going to withdraw my husband visitor’s application and apply for SOWP at the same time as when am renewing my PGWP, just waiting to save up the fees, that’s like $710 for both of us. This process is just pathetic at this point

Oh thank you F@I I thought I might be going crazy this morning thinking about withdrawing my hubby's visitor application and trying SOWP. And I totally agree with you paying for these extra fees is ridiculous!.

Hi, are there cases where they stamp primary applicant (inland) but put spouse (outland) stamping on hold?

I have following this thread and it gives me good hopes congrats to all who got visa for their loved ones. I have few doubts i though you may have a little time to advise me from your own experience.

I am applying visitor visa for my 3 years old son and my wife, they are in India. I am currently on Study permit.

Q1: That "non-discretionary travel" option is only for Visitor visa or it is for Spouse open work permit as well?

Q2: If i apply for visitor visa do i have to submit a separate application for both my wife and son? or this can be done in a single application?

Q3: Does my wife needs to show a police certificate?

Q4: My wife is house wife does she need to show her own bank statement? or she can use mine?

Q5. Do i have to apply for their visitor visa on my behalf or my wife will have to do it herself?

I will be very thankful for you to help me.
