Hey everyone, I'm currently in an undergraduate program which I had to defer from January to September 2021 and I have also recieved the visa approval for the same. The current college is in ontario, but I have also gotten the offer letter from a college in Saskatchewan for sept 2021 which is offering me a better program.

Q1- Is the immigration criteria easier in saskatchewan for ug students?

Recently, the cic updated about the college change outside the canada, it states that if I wish to change the college from India, I will need to re-lodge my visa file, which I'm not willing to do.

Q2- So is it possible that I pay the fees in the new college and don't change it on the portal yet. Once I get into Canada, I take refund from the former college and update it on gc key. Will the immigration authorities at airport know that I'm enrolled in 2 colleges?

Q3- Are there any risks associated with this?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

What makes you think you will get a refund from your 1st college if you are withdrawing yourself

No college is going to give you 100% refund once the semester has started, unless the college is at fault.

I never said 100% refund, I can bear losing administrative charges and I'll take refund before the semester starts because I'll be flying 1 month or 21 says before the start of semester. Once I'm in Canada, I can initiate refund.

How did you come to this conclusion? No where does it remotely state that in the link you shared?

IRCC from time to time requests DLI reporting. There is a possibility that they can find that out. It's better to be safe than sorry.
