I want to know from those who have knowledge if IRCC visits Linkedin profile?

I know for sure that they verify professional experience for the PR applicants, browsing through this forum alone, but do they do the same for study permit applicants?

We don't know because we're not immigation officers. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised that IRCC resorts to social media to obtain an “unofficial” opinion on your application, tho I highly doubt that would have an impact on your application unless you're grossly mistepresenting yourself on Linkedin versus resume.

They might, but there are people who do not have updated LinkedIn, so I don't think they will verify/judge you from your LinkedIn profile.

If you have professional experience, you must upload the cv. And it is better also to add your linkedin profile on your cv. Always try to prepare your linkedin profile matching with your cv.

For PR applications, thoroughly check Linkedin, search on this forum for PR applications, not sure about study permits though.

I didn't upload my resume and didn't know they check Linkedin
If someone has professional experience better upload their cv to convince VO about their career progression and understanding gap after study.
However, don't worry. If you mention it in SOP it's also fine.
CV is mandatory for whom has long study gap after study.
Best of luck

I know they check for PR applications but not sure for SP. I uploaded my CV as it was requested in my checklist, but it didn't include my LinkedIn profile link. I wish I did include it though, cos my linkedIn profile is tight :D :D :D
